Engaged Parish Community Agreement Renewal—Nov. 21-22 Feast of Christ the King
Renewing your commitment to Christ and our parish: Each year, on the feast of Christ the King, we invite you to renew your covenant agreement with our parish. Parish life touches so many aspects of Catholic living. Last week, I mentioned that our parish is committed to serving you. The parish commitment is listed on the back wall of our church.
A covenant agreement is a two-way street. So, what is your part? Five qualities and practices distinguish those who are actively engaged in parish life. How those qualities are lived out is your own particular response. Allow me to highlight those qualities:
- Participating actively in the sacramental life of the parish and cultivating a personal prayer life.
- Sharing your gifts generously in a spirit of service.
- Embracing opportunities to participate in spiritual growth programs and retreats.
- Inviting others to join in the life of the parish.
- Committing a portion of your treasure in stewardship to the parish
You will be invited to review these and then sign a pledge card stating that you embrace these qualities and practices. Please give them your prayerful consideration.
