The St. Joseph Parish School of Religion Advisory Board advises
the Pastor and Director/Coordinator or Religious Education (DRE/CRE)
in making policy for the PSR and to foster parental involvement
and ownership. The Board membership is made up of 10-15 parents,
appointed by the Pastor, who represent all grade levels of the school.
The members serve a three year term, with membership
staggered so that one-third of the parents are appointed each year.
The Board also consists of the pastor and Director/Coordinator of
Religious Education as ex-officio, non-voting members. The Board
meets quarterly - August, November, April and June in a publicly
designated room. Parents are invited to attend.
