The Our Father - The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
And born of the Virgin May.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
Died and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.
He ascended into heaven and is seated
At the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge the living and the dead
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy catholic Church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body,
And life everlasting. Amen.

Act of Contrition
My God,
I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong
And failing to do good,
I have sinned against you,
Whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with your help,
To do penance,
To sin no more,
And to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ
Suffered and died for us.
In his name, my God, have mercy.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful.
And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit, 0 Lord and our
Hearts shall be created.
And you shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.

Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
0 divine master, grant that I may not seek so
so much as to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The Angelus

(Recited at dawn, noon and evening)

The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary
And she conceived by the Holy Spirit

(recite Hail Mary)

Behold the handmaid of the Lord
Be it done unto me according to your word

(recite Hail Mary)

And the Word was made flesh
And dwelt among us.

(recite Hail Mary)

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God
That we maybe made worth of the promises
Of Christ.

Let us pray.

Pour forth, we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ your Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by his passion and death be brought to the glory of his resurrection. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, and sought you intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O virgin of virgins, my mother. To you I come; before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to you do we sigh, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn, then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
