St. Joseph Soccer is a member of the CYC West District and plays
teams from the surrounding West County area. Our program has teams
for boys and girls from Pre-K - High School. Pre-K play 4v4 and
Kindergarten play 6v6 against other St. Joe teams. 1st, 2nd &
3rd grade play 8v8 on a smaller field against other St. Joe teams
and organizations. Beginning in 4th grade teams play 11v11 in the
CYC West District. Registration is held in May. St. Joe soccer field
rain out number is 636-227-0224
The season runs from early September until mid November with most
games on Saturday and Sundays (no games on Sunday before noon).
For the older ages there could be some weeknight games. Practices
are at the coaches’ discretion, usually one evening per week.
For grades 1st to 8th grade, each team is allotted up to $200 for
pre-season outdoor tournaments.

CYC
card - Every coach and every assistant coach needs to have a
CYC card along with every player who is currently in 5th grade and
up. Adults need a driver's license or passport, children need a
birth certificate or baptismal certificate (must have birth date
on it). These cards cost $3.00 for coaches and players. Coach's
card never expires and players expire in 7 years.
CYC
Coaching to Make a Positive Difference is a good introduction
to coaching in general, practice organization and so forth. This
is a mandatory CYC requirement for all head coaches. This is a one
time only class.
Attend
Protecting God's Children - this is a mandatory requirement
for all head coaches, assistant coaches and parent volunteers. This
is a one time only class.
Coaching
License - this is a mandatory course for all head coaches in
grades Pre-k-5 put on by the Missouri Youth Soccer Association.
Please go to their website for class dates. The course is $35 and
will the cost will be reimbursed by the SJAA.
