How you can help
* Financial assistance
The St. Joseph Conference relies on the generosity of parishioners
to meet the needs of those requiring assistance. There are several
ways you can make a donation:
*by using the blue envelopes contained in your monthly envelope
package
* by forwarding your donation to the St. Joseph Parish Office
* by dropping a donation in the poor box located at the entryway
of the church
* by bereavement donations - "in lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to The Society of St. Vincent dePaul - St. Joseph Conference"
Please make all checks payable to: The Society of St. Vincent dePaul
- St. Joseph Conference.
- In-kind donations
Food, clothing, furniture. The Society, in conjunction with some
very generous parishioners, maintains and supports a parish food
pantry. Canned goods, dry goods, paper products, disposable baby
diapers, disposable adult briefs, tissue, and personal care items
such as toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes are
always welcome. Please contact us at the parish office (636-227-5247,
ext 1012) to arrange for these items to be picked up. For larger
items, such as furniture and clothing, please call the thrift store
at 314-534-2183, ext. 120.
- Use your talents
Consider becoming a member of the Society. Join in offering person-to-person
ministering to those in need. If you feel called and want to explore
membership, please contact the parish office at 636-227-5247, ext
1012, and leave a message. Someone will return your call to discuss
membership in the Society.
- Pray for those in need and those in the Society
We ask that you pray for all those in need. We ask for your prayers
for those who have material, emotional, and spiritual needs. We
ask you to pray for the members of the Society. Pray that we may
see the face of Christ in those we serve. Pray that we share the
gifts our generous Father has bestowed on our parish and community.
