The Ladies Auxiliary hosts our Friend and Fund-raising events to
raise funds for local agencies and charities of our choice. We have
our very successful Chili Supper Sunday in January, Pancakes for
Dinner in November and our favorite Bunch for Bunco in April. These
events are open to the public and are widely publicized. Our group
is often asked to assist with parish-wide events, as well.
We participate in some of the Knights' programs--notable the M.
R. (Tootsie Roll) drive, (during which we usually raise more money
than most councils in Missouri) for mentally and physically challenged
persons in our area and the state of Missouri, the Contest of Concern,
helps fund the Special Olympics, and the Roses for Life program.
The famous September - May Felice Coeurs Dance for adults with disabilities,
held at St. Clare parish.
We socialize together after every meeting, and go out to dinner
twice a year--for a Fat Tuesday dinner, and at the end of the year
to celebrate our achievements. A fun member Christmas Party meeting
is in December. We also participate jointly with the Knights at
an Installation of Officers in the summer, which is followed by
a dinner, and a yearly Christmas dinner at which time they donate
their Tootsie Roll funds to the local agencies benefiting the disabled.
Membership is open to wives, daughters, or widows of Knights over
the age of 18, and all female members of religious orders. Please
