April 12, 2007 ----- Shower of Love , a St. Charles Countywide
Baby Shower collecting baby gifts, diapers, formula, cribs, carriers,
baby food, wipes, clothing and other essentials to help new and
expectant mothers who won't be having a baby shower. Cash donations
can be written to the Community Council of St. Charles County. Donations
are tax deductible. PLEASE - no used items will be accepted. Some
of the collection sites around St. Charles County are: O'Fallon
Dollar Store, Wentzville Dollar Store, New Frontier Bank locations,
UMB Bank locations, Commerece Bank locations, Barnes Jewish Hospital,
St. Peters, Central Fire District Stations at Timerbrook, Willott
Road and Jungs Station. Proceeds to benefit the following St. Charles
County agenies: St. Charles Crisis Nursery, Youth in Need, Mary

Cathedral Basilica at 8AM followed by Rosary Procession to the Planned
Parenthood Bldg at Forest Park Pkwy and Boyle then return to Cathedral
Basilica for Benedication of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
April 21-May 13, 2007 ------ Mother's Day Card fundraising project
for Birthright of Hillsboro. Mother Day cards will be available
at the exits of St. Joseph Church. No money will be collected at
church. A letter of explanation and an envelope for sending a donation
to Birthright of Hillsboro is included with each card. A notice
will be in the St. Joseph's Church bulletin explaining the Mother's
Day Card fundraiser for Birthright of Hillsboro and hopefully we
will have pulpit announcements on the weekend Masses starting April
21 thru May 13.
